Ollama rolled out new pricing for its Pro, Max, and Team plans on August 31, 2026, moving to per-token rates published directly on the company's pricing page and on individual model pages. The Pro plan runs $20 a month and comes with $60 of usage credits. Max costs $100 monthly with $300 included, and Team is priced at $500 a month for $1,000 in shared usage across unlimited users.
Anyone already on a Pro, Max, or Team plan keeps their current setup unless they choose to switch, with the option to upgrade to the new structure anytime through account settings. Ollama says the change came out of user feedback, and every tier now includes a refreshing monthly credit pool tied to actual token consumption rather than flat access.
The free plan gets an update too, with a small monthly allotment for a set of starter models, plus the option to add pay-as-you-go credits to unlock the full model lineup without a subscription. All plans work with coding agents like Claude Code and Codex, alongside Ollama's own API, and run on infrastructure in the US, Europe, and, for select Qwen models, Singapore.
